Tasting Notes

Sea Change Sauvignon Blanc offers concentrated aromas of green fruit complimented on the palate by riper, tropical flavours such as passionfruit.

Opulent and expressive, this wine represents the very best Marlborough has to offer. A focused wine with complex layers of flavour, it is beautifully rich whilst balanced by a subtle minerality and a clean, fresh lingering finish.

Food Pairings

This is a remarkably food-friendly wine. Try pairing Sea Change Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with goat’s cheese, walnut and pear salad, light meat dishes with creamy sauces or vegetable-heavy recipes. Due to their unique appearance and biology, sea horses have long captured our imagination and are often featured in mythology and folklore.

There are around 50 species of sea horse worldwide, but around a quarter are officially listed as endangered. Sea horses are threatened by overfishing and unintended capture in trawl nets. Their habitats such as seagrasses, mangroves and coral reefs are also highly sensitive to pollution and climate change.
